About the ETSP-TS Series Thermal Shock Chamber
The ETSP-TS series from ETSP, South Korea, is a basket moving type thermal shock chamber designed for thermal shock testing of components or equipment, subjecting them to the rapid temperature changes defined in IEC 60068-3-5:2001, MIL-STD-810G and NATO STANAG 4370. It is suitable for quality control laboratories and production plants for the screening of components or equipment, and allows a wide range of tests to determine thermal characteristics.
The cold zone runs from -70 °C to -10 °C and the hot zone from ambient to 200 °C, with temperature accuracy of less than ±0.3 °C and stability of less than ±0.5 °C. The hot zone heats from room temperature to +200 °C within 15 minutes, the cold zone cools from room temperature to -70 °C within 45 minutes, and temperature recovery takes 5–15 minutes, depending on test conditions.
Basket movement uses a pneumatic cylinder and guide rail for a low level of vibration, and a double gasket reduces air mixing between the cold and hot chambers. Rapid cooling is quiet, with silent compressors and ecologically friendly refrigerants, and the refrigeration system is a mechanical cascade (dual) system. Standard or custom-designed models can be offered.
